PCD in Broome ensure continuity of food supplies through flood devastation

Pearl Coast Distributors (PCD) go the extra mile to ensure food supplies are delivered to the Kimberley and Fitzroy regions.

With the current flood devastation that has engulfed Western Australia, including the Kimberley and Fitzroy regions, there are many communities who are going through challenging times to say the least, as they start the New Year.

In an effort to ensure Pearl Coast Distributors (PCD) Customers and surrounding towns have food, PCD took it upon themselves to go the extra mile amidst the floods, to continue to deliver food supplies across the Kimberley and Fitzroy regions.

Where Customers deliveries were not possible by road due to the conditions, PCD banded together with local assistance from the RAAF, DFES, as well as Derby Stock Supplies and Transport Services, ensuring coordinated flights made their deliveries. Regular updates were posted across their Facebook business page with images and videos of the flood-stricken weather.

It has been an overwhelming time for many, however staying true to the Aussie spirit of lending a helping hand when things get tough, PCD have demonstrated the true heart of their family owned business, “Priding themselves on service that makes a difference to the local community”.

Massive hat-tip to the team at Pearl Coast Distributors, this is what it means to be proudly independent.
